3、 Requirements for material and equipment

1. General provisions

a. The materials for glass curtain wall shall meet the relevant provisions and design requirements of the current national standards. Materials without corresponding standards shall meet the design requirements and shall have factory certificate.

b. The glass curtain wall shall be made of weather resistant materials. Except stainless steel and weather resistant steel, metal materials and metal parts shall be hot dip galvanized, inorganic zinc rich coating or other effective anti-corrosion measures shall be taken for steel. Aluminum alloy materials shall be anodized, electrophoretic, powder or fluorocarbon paint.

c. The glass curtain wall materials should be non combustible or non combustible; Fire proof sealing materials shall be used for fire sealing structure.

d. Neutral silicone structural sealant must be used for bonding between the glass and aluminum profile of the hidden frame and semi concealed frame glass curtain wall; When the coated glass is used for the full glass curtain wall and the point supporting curtain wall, the acid silicone structural sealant shall not be used for bonding.

e. Silicone structural sealant and silicone building sealant must be used within the validity period.

2. Curtain wall framework

a. The frame profile of glass curtain wall, such as square steel pipe, angle steel, channel steel, colored galvanized steel plate and stainless steel, must meet the design requirements and select qualified products, and shall cooperate with aluminum alloy frame materials.

b. Aluminum alloy frame system is mainly the curtain wall frame profile formed by special extrusion. When selected, it is decided by the design according to the force condition of curtain wall frame and used according to different series.

c. The glass curtain wall shall be made of aluminum alloy material, aluminum alloy material quality, doors and windows of curtain wall, etc., which shall conform to the provisions of current standards.

3. Embedded parts, fasteners and connections

a. Embedded parts and various connecting parts and bolts of curtain wall are mostly made of Q235 low carbon steel

b. The processed parts of angle steel, anchor bar, anchor plate, section steel and steel plate shall be made of steel in accordance with the relevant provisions of national standards, and must be treated with galvanizing and rust prevention during use.

c. The stainless steel materials shall conform to the current standards such as cold rolled stainless steel plate (gb3280), stainless steel bar (GB4226), cold top forged stainless steel wire (gb4332 · 4232).

d. Weathering steel for glass curtain wall shall comply with the current national standard high weather resistant structural steel (gb/t4171) and weather resistant steel for welding structure (gb/t4172).

4. Curtain wall glass

a. Safety glass (laminated glass, filament glass and tempered glass) shall be adopted, otherwise corresponding safety measures must be taken.

b. When the curtain wall is made of hot reflection galvanized film glass, the vacuum magnetron sputtering coating glass should be selected.

c. For arc glass curtain wall, the coating glass produced by thermal spraying method can be considered.

d. During installation and use, the surface quality and geometric dimension of glass, the size deviation, appearance quality and performance of glass shall be strictly checked, and shall conform to the provisions of current national standards.

e. When the glass curtain wall adopts hollow glass, it shall meet the relevant provisions of the current national standard "hollow glass" gb11944, and shall also meet the requirements of: the thickness of the gas layer of the hollow glass shall not be less than 9mm, and the hollow glass shall be sealed by two passes.

f. For arc glass curtain wall, the coating glass produced by thermal spraying method can be considered.

g. When laminated glass is used for glass curtain wall, the laminated glass which is made by PVB film dry processing shall be strictly controlled in temperature and humidity.

h. All curtain wall glass shall be mechanically polished, and the number of grinding wheels shall be more than 180 mesh.

i. Curtain wall glass with fire protection requirements shall be single-chip fireproof glass or its products according to the requirements of fire rating.

5. Pad, filling, caulking and sealing materials

a. The types, specifications, cross-section dimensions and physical and chemical properties of positioning pad, filling materials, caulking rubber and sealant shall meet the design requirements.

b. Rubber products used in glass curtain wall should be EPDM, neoprene and silicone rubber; The sealing strip shall be extruded and the rubber block shall be molded by pressing die.
